Expansion Phase


It is facilitated by young leaders, 19 to 25 years old. In this program youth (1) learn the advantages of a resiliency practice to cope with, and bounce back from difficult situations, (2) develop the foundation for positive thinking habits and skills that they can apply an any environment, (3) learn new ways to foster strong and positive relationships and work better together, and (4) learn how to redirect and reframe negative self-talk and strategies to dispute negative thinking. The exercises in this program align with the skills and competencies included in the Atlantic Canada Framework for Essential Graduation Competencies.
