Research Phase

The resulting program will include educational workshops, policy recommendations and workplace training with the goal of helping girls and young women access professions and leadership roles in underrepresented sectors and industries. The most common discrimination reported in Canada is related to gender equity. Women and girls are not afforded the same standards of physical and mental health, access to education, competitive or equal compensation, nor do they participate equally in a variety of sectors, or governance or leadership roles. Despite hard-fought movements for equality, voice and agency, the prevalence of sexual and gender-based discrimination and systemic barriers remain.
