Pilot Phase

The overall aim of the program is to instill intentional and proactive thinking in youth to enable them to smoothly transition to independence. While recognizing that not all youth have the same resources, this program ensures they develop the capacity and confidence to take the lead and adopt strategies which will help improve their potential for success. The program relies on a data-driven approach with long-term engagement to prompt youth to be proactive, develop autonomy, self-belief, and confidence about their present and future. The program consists of 12 transformational projects, comprised of 36 hands-on activities, built within three themes: (1) responsibility, (2) independence, and (3) belonging.
